However, Cynthia began her career with Annie Dutton on Guiding Light, which earned her the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 1998; and had many other primetime appearances on shows such as Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, The Closer, Criminal Minds, House, Hawaii Five-0 and more before joining General Hospital as Nina Reeves in 2019.
Cynthia tells me about growing up in Michigan and realizing her desire to become an actress. How she took on the role on Guiding Light and what it was like joining Lost in its second season. She talks candidly to me about a DUI as well as her family's mental illness and how she helps her children cope with it.
