What is Minecraft? Minecraft is a virtual online playground and workshop, where children of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun and learn. It's unique in the sense that virtually everything in Minecraft is designed and built by members of the community. Minecraft is designed for ages 13 to 18, but it is open to people of all ages. Each player begins by choosing an avatar and giving it an identity. They can then explore Minecraft and interact with others by chatting, playing games, or collaborating on creative projects. Each player also receives their own undeveloped land as well as a virtual toolbox with which they can design and build anything – whether it's a navigable skyscraper, a working helicopter walking, a giant pinball machine, a multiplayer game “Capture the flag” or others. another creation, still to be imagined. There is no charge for this first virtual plot of land. By participating and building cool stuff, Minecraft members can earn specialty badges as well as Minecraft Dollars (“Minecraft”). In turn, they can browse the online catalog to purchase avatar clothing and accessories as well as premium building materials, interactive components and working mechanisms.
