Moment a pedestrian swears at a cyclist before she is hit and killed by a car

A visually impaired and disabled pedestrian has been sentenced to three years in prison for the death of a cyclist who she had shouted at to get off the sidewalk.

Auriol Grey, 49, gestured “in a hostile and aggressive manner/” towards retired midwife Celia Ward, 77, a court heard.

CCTV footage recorded Ms Gray shouting “get off the f***ing kerb” moments before Ms Ward staggered across the road and into the path of a VW Passat.

Ms Ward was pronounced dead at the scene following the incident on October 20, 2020 in Huntingdon, Cambs.
