Classic Punk Singles 1976-1980 – Motörhead
7/"single White Line Fever / Leaving Here (Stiff Records) 1977
written by Kilminster-Clerk-Taylor (names spelled on label)

This is Motörhead's first (or second) single and actually NOT punk at all. And yet I'm including it in this punk series, I hope you don't mind. At the time (1977), this single was not released for sale… it was only released as part of the box set 7/" /" Stiff Records: First 10 singles BUY 001-010/ " This one- This is BUY 009.

Lemmy (Ian Kilmister) (vocals, bass)
Eddie Clarke (guitar)
Phil Taylor (drums)

taken from the original vinyl single for the best possible sound quality

By random search in my single 7/" box sets, I chose to download here more or less classic punk singles from the years 1976-1980. I exclude some of the "greatest punk groups/"… like Clash, Pistols, Ramones etc. These are some of my favorite punk singles… as I see them today, 35 years later I hope you like them too. -thing about the band or the song… you probably know more about it than me, if not, google it 😉

I'm fully aware that this has been uploaded to YouTube several times, but again, I wanted to include it on my channel as well. Although I guess there won't be many people listening to this. Thanks for being one of them 😉
