NICOLA GRIFFITH is a dual British and American citizen and lives in Seattle, Washington. She is the author of award-winning novels including SPEAR, HILD, and AMMONITE, and has written for NATURE, NEW SCIENTIST, THE NEW YORK TIMES, THE GUARDIAN, and other publications. She is the founder and co-host of #CripLit, has a PhD from Anglia Ruskin University and enjoys fierce wheelchair boxing fights. She is married to the novelist and screenwriter Kelley Eskridge.
Karen Joy Fowler is the author of seven novels, including SARAH CANARY, which won the Commonwealth Medal for Best First Novel by a Californian, and THE JANE AUSTEN BOOK CLUB, a New York Times bestseller. Also three short story collections, two of which won the World Fantasy Award in their respective years. His novel WE ARE ALL COMPLETELY BESIDES US, won the PEN/FAULKNER for fiction in 2013 and was shortlisted for the Man/Booker. Her most recent novel, BOOTH, was published in March 2022.
