The Oakely Field Jacket is an improvement over the Oakley Jawbone. Oakley researchers equipped runners with eye trackers to determine where their eyes were going. They discovered that the Jawbone's eyebrow line obstructed the wearer's field of vision.
This is not optimal.
Now, the Field Jacket sports the largest dual lens Oakley has ever created. It has a wide field of vision, especially the superior field of vision for driving.
*NOTE: This product does not come with two sets of temples. The temples are interchangeable, but the item only comes with one set of standard sized temples.
But what about fogging? Other sunglasses should be perched on the tip of the nose to defog. It's uncomfortable and if you have an Rx you can't see.
The Field Jacket features Advance, a one-button solution for ventilation. It is located under the bridge and places the frame 7 millimeters forward to allow airflow while maintaining optical alignment.
