Opening the coffin of Irma Grese – The evil guard of the concentration camp

During World War II, a number of horrific female concentration camp guards were executed at the end of the conflict for their crimes. One of the most fearsome women to be sentenced to the executioner's gallows was Irma Grese, who was 22 years old when she was executed, and she was known as the Hyena of Auschwitz, or the Beautiful Beast. Grese was a woman who encouraged her dog to attack other prisoners and she also shot inmates who weren't working hard enough. But after her execution, a dark cloud appeared in the decades that followed, as she was exhumed from her grave and buried elsewhere, and authorities opened her grave and removed her body.
