Writer Paul Auster, best known for his novels, discusses his film work following a special screening of Smoke (1995), which he wrote and co-directed with Wayne Wang.

Auster details his relationship with cinema, his love of collaboration, and the influence of Robert Altman and Yasujiro Ozu.
