Penguin defends decision to remove Wendy Doniger's book

Penguin Books has released a statement regarding its decision to withdraw and discard all published copies of Wendy Doniger's book, 'The Hindus, An Alternative History', saying that due to certain sections of the IPC, it is difficult for publishers to defend their freedom of expression. They then add that it is not only a question of creative freedom but also of human rights.
