Philosophy of science 10 – Against method 1

Paul Feyerabend argued that there is no such thing as a scientific method: all the methodological rules approved by philosophers have been broken at different times in the history of science, and this has been to the benefit of science. Feyerabend defended this claim with an analysis of Galileo's arguments for heliocentrism.
