Proplifting Guide: How to find free plants!
DISCLAIMER: I do not condone shoplifting or intentional breaking of leaves or branches, I am simply showing you how to propagate something to the ground, already broken and destined for the trash; like a small succulent leaf found on the ground. There is definitely a gray area as to the legality of this practice, and I RECOMMEND ASKING THE STAFF before bringing anything home. With this video, I explain the technique of searching for broken leaves or branches found on the floor of your local garden center, in an attempt to propagate, aka: proplifting. This is a somewhat controversial practice, especially if you're looking for the sheets at a company like Home Depot, Lowes, Wal-Mart, etc. This is not something I suggest you do in a small nursery, botanical garden, or private garden. property… Absolutely do not intentionally ruin the stock and do not tear off the leaves from the plants.

That said, it's very easy to grow a wide variety of plants for FREE from just a small leaf or branch. Come with me as I show you my step-by-step process for finding leaves at Home Depot and bringing them home to propagate.

I would like to have your opinion in the comments, is this something you do? Is this something allowed at your own local garden center? Is this something that you think is morally wrong? Let me know!
