Alex has barely strapped on his magic training wheels when a gorgon comes to town! Medusa isn't just asking for asylum. She is waiting for Alex's help to break her own family's famous curse.
The old hatred runs deep in creatures with such long memories, and stopping the entire city from pursuing Medusa with its own torches and pitchforks may prove impossible.
Luckily, Alex has a few distractions hotter than sin to help him. Um, help her learn to control the wilder aspects of her magic, of course.
Unfortunately, her ex-husband's prolonged recovery – under her roof – doesn't exactly put Alex in a romantic mood, and she may forget to foster calm feelings of control.
Handing Mike over to Medusa might be Alex's biggest temptation yet. And with her barely contained magic broken down, Alex might not be the best witch to help lift Medusa's curse, anyway. Especially since she can't seem to do anything for herself.
But when a high-ranking demon tries to use Alex's family to force his own curse into action, those magical training wheels have to come off.
