Rock Hopping For Bass, Roanoke River, Gaston to Weldon floating boat ramp, largemouth and spotted bass
Yesterday was the best day for fishing. They were catching strippers from The Rock. I thought the water would stay low, like 6600cfm. Overnight, the temperature reached nearly 8,000 cfm. I had 1 good striper attack on my Topwater bait, after the Triangle. I missed this one hook 3 times. While everyone else is fighting for the stripers, I'm harvesting the bass.
