After securing Coruscant, the New Republic found itself faced with a dilemma: the warlord Zsinj was the greatest military threat, but Isard had unleashed the Krytos virus on Coruscant, putting all aliens in danger. When the New Republic decided to ignore Isard, Wedge Antilles resigned along with the entire Rogue Squadron to free Thyferra from Isard and return Bacta production to normal.
