Rory Stewart, director of Harvard's Kennedy School of Government Carr Center for Human Rights Policy and founder and CEO of the Turquoise Mountain Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to serving Afghan communities, discusses the foundation and his memoir New York Times bestselling novel, The Places in Between, which recounts his journey through Afghanistan after the collapse of the Taliban regime in 2002.
