Without much resistance, I sold everything I could, packed what I needed into one truck, and set my sights on Alaska. (A place I've never been and only knew through stories) I came with my dog Gracie, my cat Saoirse, and the dream of building an off-grid sanctuary in the middle of the Alaskan wilderness!
I never built a cabin, never had to survive harsh winters or wild encounters, and always had the comforts of society at my fingertips. I asked myself: could I create my life in this environment? Do I have what it takes to thrive and survive on my own? I have decided that life is short, tomorrow is never guaranteed and I am making my “what ifs” come true!
