Search Party finds a group of narcissistic, entitled twenty-somethings at a hilariously dark crossroads after their friend Dory (Alia Shawkat) becomes obsessed with finding a missing college acquaintance. Season 3 catches up with the gang as Dory and her disgruntled ex-boyfriend Drew (John Reynolds) go on trial for the semi-accidental murder of a private detective. With chaos in the courtroom and "rock-solid" evidence stacked against them, Dory and Drew prepare a controversial defense, while Elliott (John Early) and Portia (Meredith Hagner) struggle to testify in as witnesses. As a media frenzy descends over the trial, the friends are pitted against each other and it becomes increasingly clear that brunch plans are canceled indefinitely #SearchParty.
