In this video I revisit the Baofeng AR-152 Amateur Radio – a high power unlocked UHF radio perfect for SHTF, civil unrest, emergencies and even WW3. The AR-152 is perfect for emergency communications because it is Unlocked, meaning it can transmit on amateur radio frequencies, GMRS, MURS and many other frequency ranges. The large buttons and easy-to-read display also make it a good choice for preppers or anyone wanting an emergency radio that works outdoors and in direct sunlight. Of course, since this is an amateur radio, the FCC says you must have an amateur radio license (amateur radio license) to transmit on the AR152 radio, but no license is required to purchase, own, own or listen to the Baofeng AR. -152 or any other amateur radio.
