Research shows us that to get people to change, we must not start by trying to change just their attitudes, but start with the behaviors associated with those attitudes. When people see themselves behaving differently, they may then view themselves differently and a change in attitude follows. The six behaviors discussed that you could adopt today come from more than 90 interviews with women executives in sport.

Emily Jaenson's motto is "Be so good they won't forget you!" ” and that motto carried her through her career to land her former role as general manager of the Triple-A Reno Aces. By accepting the role in 2018, Jaenson became Triple-A's first woman to serve as general manager in nearly 20 years. Jaenson runs a podcast, Leadership is Female, in which she interviews sports executives so she and her guests can guide the next generation of female leadership forward and leads a team of sports front office veterans in their business of advice. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
