“We leaned into the feel of a British country manor,” says designer Emily Griffin of Griffin Houghton. In this Victorian home renovation, the design duo mastered the juxtaposition of new and old by restoring antiques, designing custom furniture, and adding a two-story addition. Favorite moments include the oak-paneled bar, a beamed great room, and the spacious master bedroom with a peaked roof and marble fireplace. “We have always built traditional houses: it seems second nature to us! » said Emilie.
