Suspicious Hospital Deaths: The Angel of Death (full documentary) True Crime

An alarming number of deaths in the intensive care unit of a California hospital has staff seriously concerned. Hospital staff suspected one of the respiratory therapists was up to something. A rumor has surfaced regarding a "magic syringe" used by the therapist, possibly to administer poison to kill hospital patients.

When drugs were found in the therapist's possession, investigators questioned him, during which he admitted to killing hundreds of people. However, without corroborating evidence, authorities should let him go.

Forensic scientists have been asked to develop a method to detect suspected poisons in the bodies of past victims. When poison was detected in several bodies exhumed by authorities, the respiratory therapist nicknamed “the angel of death” was ultimately convicted.
