The betrayal of Bette Davis by her daughter BD Hyman
One of the many lies and contradictions in comics:
Hyman initially claimed she wrote the book "My Mother's Keeper" in an attempt to reach her mother. Now a born-again Christian, Hyman said in one of her many "teaching" videos (all on her YouTube channel): /"I thought she would be so outraged that I would write a book, she would go away./” In another: “it served its purpose, it separated her from our lives (her and her husband). » So she now admits that she wrote the book so that Bette would cut all ties with her and her family, and not to get her this message to try to understand her better after all.

Another lie…
She claims that her adopted brother didn't even try to dissuade her from writing the first book, but that is completely contradicted by what he said in that TV documentary about Bette. In his second book, Hyman writes that "he simply said he hoped I knew what I was doing and, to make sure I knew, he said he trusted my judgment."
