The Deer and the Dragon: the best romance of all time!

/"The Stag and the Dragon/" by Piper CJ is the best romance book I've read. This is my second favorite book of the year after /"Lilith/" by Nikki Marmery, which I wrote about in my vblog about my TBR winter fiction. Folklore ingeniously mixes with Christian mythology. This is a great book for all survivors of religious trauma. Piper CJ puts her mastery in folklore to work by incorporating forgotten pantheons and traditions into her book. I first heard about Piper CJ looking for podcasts about fae and folklore. I enjoyed the interview so much that I looked up his books. I immediately purchased /"The Stag and the Dragon/" at our local bookstore. I was dismayed but not surprised to discover that the author was the victim of cyberbullying, even from his own community. I talk a little more about the subject of my latest vlog: snobbery and shaming of authors and readers. Unfortunately, it is often the so-called progressives who engage in the harassment.

To the snobs, the brats, and the bullies: do you really want to eat your own meal in an age when extremists are invading public libraries and burning books? Let people enjoy their books and live their lives. Stop behaving like religious fanatics.
