The Devils of D-Day (Remake Reading Treatment! – Fanfiction)

I've been a fan of Graham Masterton's novels ever since I bought a copy of The Devils of the Landing, when I was about fourteen. I only realized later that I had become aware of his work through the film Le Manitou, based on his first book and released in 1978. To be honest, it's not a great film, but it gives an idea of creativity in Masterton's work. His books are very visual and evoke images that should be easily transferred to the big screen. For whatever reason, however, only his first book crossed the line from the printed page to the big screen.
I published a complete screenplay for The Devils of D-Day. I reworked the story into the popular “found footage” genre. The book's first-person narrative lends itself well to this particular style of filmmaking, I believe.

So here I am, reading this to you, despite the Yorkshire accent. I hope you like it. 🙂
