Well, a lady gave me a book last week. You know how people rarely read a book that's given to them?
If I read the book I buy, I will pay a nickel for it. I paid 100 for a book. But when I buy a book, I read it. And I paid a hundred dollars for, say, three volumes that I wouldn't even leave room for after reading them.
But I was hungry to know what was in it because of the promotion behind it. There are others I bought for a penny…and what I got out of them! When she gave the book to my wife to give to me, she told her, “I bought it at a rummage sale. I only paid a cent.
Well, when I got home after the last conference, I read the letters first, and after we talked, and I just talked for a while with the guy who took me back to the house, when he left and I closed the door and relaxed in my chair, I just picked up the book and started flipping through it. When I turned around and started reading it, I couldn't put it down. I couldn't put it down until I finished the whole book…one of the most beautiful things I've ever read. She said she only paid a penny at a rummage sale.
You know, people have a library, they don't know the value of the library – I don't mean in dollars, I mean in terms of the actual contents of the books – and then a church comes along, they want something to sell to an affordable price. rummage sale, and they give away the book.
Well, it's called – I've never heard of the author's name before, T. Howard Wilson, whatever it was, printed here in this city – it's The Eternal Quest.
It's the title. Everything revolves around Lancelot and Guinevere, it's the cycle.
Each page is something we should insert directly into the brain.
I found this book obscure and out of print and am reading it for you. It is a beautiful poem that tells the story of King Arthur, Launcelot, Guinevere and the Holy Grail. I love reading it, you will enjoy the story.
