At the end of World War II, many female guards were executed for their work inside the deadliest concentration camp, Auschwitz. Therese Brandl was a thug known for her perverse treatment of inmates and sent thousands to their deaths in the gas chambers. At the end of the war, she was arrested and executed inside Montelupich Prison after being convicted at the Auschwitz Trial. She was executed alongside Maria Mandl, her former mentor.
