Longtime Bluey fans were in for a treat when the season three finale was released. The episode "Surprise" begins like any other, as Bandit tries to balance two games to appease his children and make them happy. It's zany, heartwarming and attempts to answer a difficult question: what's it like to have children? The final scene takes the characters years into the future, where an adult Bluey stops by to visit her parents. As Bluey and Chilli finish greeting each other and head out to the backyard, Bandit is blocked by the doorbell. He goes to open the door, unaware that his grandson is waiting for him to launch a surprise attack. However, puppy Heeler uses an updated version of the toy that Bluey uses throughout the episode, just like his mother! Recognizing the sound of the toy, Bandit realizes what awaits him: an afternoon of fun with the new member of the family!
