The first LFC: GE Circlite from 1979
The GE Circlite and similar circular fluorescent adapters were the first form of energy-saving lighting to fit into a standard light bulb socket. They are difficult to assemble, too large to fit in many lamps, and take a long time to light, but produce a bright, pleasant light, use much less energy, and produce much less heat than an incandescent bulb standard.
Here is the lamp base I used in the video: https://www.smcelectronics.com/partmisc.htm
