The Holocaust, Genocides, and Mass Murders of World War II: Crash Course in European History #40

During World War II, Nazi Germany carried out the imprisonment and summary execution of large numbers of its own citizens and the citizens of the countries it occupied. One of the groups attacked was the European Jewish population. More than six million Jews were killed in a systematic genocide. An additional five million people died in the same period of time due to Nazi persecution. Besides Jews, Roma, homosexuals, political dissidents, Poles, Slavs, blacks and many other perceived enemies were imprisoned and killed by the regime.
