PizzaFLIX Movie Class: Adapted for the cinema by brothers Julius J. and Philip G. Epstein. The couple became the first twins to win an Oscar in the writing category for CASABLANCA (1942).

Main actors: Elizabeth Taylor, Van Johnson, Walter Pidgeon, Donna Reed, Roger Moore, Eva Gabor
Director: Richard Brooks
Screenwriter: F. Scott Fitzgerald (novel)

DIRECTORY: Jack L. Warner, head of Warner Brothers, had a love-hate relationship with the Epstein twin brothers. He couldn't dispute their commercial success, but he deplored their pranks, their work habits and the schedules they kept. In 1952, Warner gave the brothers' names to the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC). They were never called to testify, but on a HUAC questionnaire, when asked if they had ever been members of a "subversive organization," they responded: "Yes. Warner Brothers./"

F. Scott Fitzgerald's poignant tale / "Babylon Revisited /" forms the basis of this film starring Elizabeth Taylor and Van Johnson as tragic, troubled lovers struggling to find meaning and fulfillment in the world bittersweet of Paris in post-war fashion.
