Summary: Unlock your potential: believe it to achieve it! Like magic, some people know how to make wishes come true. Their secret to turning their beliefs into success is revealed in Claude M. Bristol's compelling exposition of the art of autosuggestion and suggestion. “Coincidence” cannot explain the apparent miracles of the belief he describes. Since Coué, no one has argued so convincingly on the use of the biblical text: If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.

The Magic of Belief is an inspiring and practical manual on the theme of “belief works wonders”. This is a man whose track record shows he is hard-headed: Mr. Bristol is a very successful businessman. But early in his life, as he recounts in his first chapter, he learned that if he clearly visualized his goals and firmly believed that he would achieve them, then he would achieve them. For what? To answer this question, he read a lot of religious and psychological literature. In chapter two, he recounts his adventures among books on extra-sensory perception, suggestion and subconscious powers.

Through his experiments and research, Mr. Bristol learned how the subconscious mind works and devised techniques (which he describes in detail) to release subconscious forces – these techniques are the "map", the "mirror" and the receptive methods.

Mr. Bristol gives many examples of how thought influences physical events. We know that thinking can affect the roll of dice. It is assumed that people with “green thumbs” influence plant life. Very striking examples are reported in which sales of retail stores have been increased by applying Mr. Bristol's advice. If you know how, the author explains, you can even use your subconscious to get a parking space on a crowded street.

This is a book designed to make your power of belief propel you toward the things you want. He enthusiastically advises you to visualize the future you want, then make your beliefs a dynamo to achieve that future.
