Under the scorching Vietnam sun, evil Sergeant Joe Hooper and the rest of the ragtag group of strangers who made up the American infantry company known as the Delta Raiders cautiously approached a river deep in the steamy jungle , looking for their communist. enemy. Suddenly, a deafening hail of screaming rockets and staccato machine-gun fire from the opposite bank let them know they had found them. Diving for cover among the tangled undergrowth, Squad Leader Hooper's voice cut through the cacophony as he gathered a handful of his most intrepid troops for a daring assault on the North Vietnamese army's bunkers, charging as fast as possible through the waters to the chest of the river. to engage their opponents in a frenzied firefight.
Amid the raging chaos of the battle, the intrepid Hooper and his men managed to destroy the first bunker, then another, and another, until five bunkers were destroyed. Emboldened by Hooper's success, the remainder of Delta Company rushed to join the fray, but were greeted by a fierce storm of North Vietnamese bullets, which would send several members of the company falling in agony on the jungle floor. Witnessing the carnage as he continued his attack, Sergeant Hooper knew what he had to do. He may have been called a troublemaker and a miscreant, but he was no coward and he certainly wasn't going to abandon his wounded comrades to their fate.
The North Vietnamese did not resist their intense assaults. With complete disregard for his own life, he once again ventured into the inferno of enemy fire, determined to save as many American soldiers as possible, no matter the cost.
