William R. Hincy is a man who works and writes about the latter. Becoming a writer after deciding it was the only reasonable thing to do for a problem drinker, Hincy aspires to use literature to connect society on an emotional level through characters who no longer create disorder but have instead become disorder . Between rounds, Hincy has won 3 American Fiction Awards, an International Book Award, and her personal anthology of UNEXPIRED short fiction was named one of the best books of 2020 by Kirkus Reviews. He now hosts the popular podcast Writers Drinking Whiskey and lives outside of Los Angeles with his wife and children, having found solace in the idea that the only things sacred are those of oneself and whiskey-based interludes.

Actor/director/producer/writer Eriq La Salle is best known to television audiences around the world for his award-winning portrayal of Commander Peter Benton in the critically acclaimed and landmark medical drama series ER on NBC.

Educated at Juilliard and NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, his credits range from Broadway to film roles alongside Eddie Murphy in Coming to America, Robin Williams in One Hour Photo and Hugh Jackman in Logan. La Salle has maintained a prolific acting career while working regularly as a director, taking helms at HBO, Showtime, NBC, Fox and CBS. He remains a valued member of the Dick Wolf Entertainment camp after 4 years as executive producer and director on Chicago PD in addition to directing episodes of Law & Order and Law and Order Organized Crime.

As a writer, La Salle is the author of several critically acclaimed thrillers released in 2022 and 2023: Laws of Depravity, Laws of Wrath and Laws of Annihilation. He also wrote an episode of The Twilight Zone that made the WGA list of the 101 best written television series. He lives in Los Angeles, California.
