The resurrection of the viper (Wild Amazon of Germany) Go Wild

As one of Germany's beauties, the river was the jewel of the German landscape. But with industrialization, it became the most exploited river in the country and, like everything that has been overexploited, it has lost its magnificence and charm. Thanks to tender love and care, the river today is an iconic example of one of the country's most successful and remarkable renaturation projects.

The film shows previously unseen shots of the river which now pulses with life. We'll show you the winding riverbed, spawning salmon, mating crabs, and still-growing anchor ice. You will see diving birds searching for food underwater, kingfishers catching fish, family life of badgers, foxes and a wide variety of birds. Come and meet the resurrected Wupper River!
