The Rothfuss situation

Patrick Rothfuss is simultaneously one of the most famous, most reviled, and most controversial fantasy stars in some time. Considering Name of the Wind is my favorite book of all time, I thought it was important to explore some of my thoughts, especially in light of what's been happening recently regarding apologies for the chapter not delivered. I joked about his inactivity for a while, even did skits about him, but the situation and the public reaction frankly got out of hand.
