The Spartan Navy in 5 Minutes – Ancient Greek History Explained
Was the Spartan navy a powerful weapon for the warriors of ancient Sparta, or was it so bad that it would lose to an angry swan, or even a rubber duck?

We examine how many ships, such as the Triremes, the Spartans and their allies in the Peloponnesian League could field, at various times, including the Persian invasion of 490 BC, the attack on Troy, the Peloponnesian War, the Corinthian War and beyond.

In particular, we compare it to Athens during the major Peloponnesian Wars, and look at the allies Sparta had that could help it, such as Corinth.

All in the usual style of talking too fast, being a little too stupid and not taking things very seriously.

The Spartan Navy is usually treated as a joke, so I wanted to see how seriously we should take it. By not taking it seriously at all. Which makes a lot of sense, to someone, I'm sure. And that someone should have their head examined.
