The Value of Water: A History of the Great Lakes is a feature-length documentary that follows Walk to Sustain Our Great Lakes co-creators Julia Robson and Alyssa Armbruster as they begin their 343-mile walk from the shores from Lake Michigan to Milwaukee. , WI to Lake Superior in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Both women interview political leaders, educators, activists and professionals to help better understand the issues facing these Great Lakes, as well as to highlight the progress that has been made in lake restoration since the creation of the Clean Water Act in 1972.
