Shadow Riders is an American Western TV movie from 1982. It stars Tom Selleck, Sam Elliott, Dominique Dunne, and Katharine Ross and was directed by Andrew V. McLaglen. The movie is based on Louis L’Amour’s 1982 book of the same name. It’s about two brothers who meet again after fighting on opposite sides of the Civil War and coming home to find their siblings taken by cruel raiders. They went on a trip together to find their family. Selleck, Elliot, and Jeff Osterhage, who were all in the 1979 movie The Sacketts, work together again in this one. In the US, The Shadow Riders first played on September 28, 1982.
