The year 2022 marks the 85th anniversary of the death of Howard Phillips Lovecraft, the man who started out as a pulp writer and ended up redefining an entire field of horror literature, not to mention his creation of the Cthulhu mythos. Although it was quite a difficult task to incorporate Lovecraft's particular style into media such as films, it was quite surprising on the part of comic book creators.
