Trump's Supreme Court grants him the immunity he requested. Anthony Davis reports.

The US Supreme Court has ruled that former presidents are entitled to some degree of immunity from criminal prosecution, a victory for Donald Trump that erodes charges of 2020 election subversion against him and any prospect of a trial before November .

The court's MAGA majority ruled 6-3 that presidents were protected from prosecution for official actions that extended to the "outer perimeter" of their office, but could face charges for unofficial conduct.
