Under A Raging Moon – Cover by Roger Daltrey KEITH MOON TRIBUTE
Ah yes… it was supposed to be a big collaboration… you see… Initially, I wanted a group of guest drummers on Youtube to pay tribute to Keith Moon by having each of them take a place in the solo section. …and go all MOONIE on our asses!!..lol!
I sent an email to a few Youtube drummers pitching this idea. .it's a shame I guess….but I planned for this to happen so I opted for plan 'B'!!
The drum solo section is all MOON!!…although solos 1 and 3 are actually Keith's "Won't Get Fooled Again" solo cut up and pasted together to form something different…all Moon …but not… .You know?
Taken from Roger Daltrey's 1985 solo recording of the same name…and in the liner notes he dedicates this one to Keith's mother KIT!
My cover is a tip of the hat to Roger for tipping his hat to Keith by having a lot of nasty guest drummers tip their hat to Keith on the original!! (you have to check it out!) Thanks for checking it out!!
