He's courageous ! He is strong! He is best remembered as being the only Greek hero to have a happy ending! That's right, it's everyone's favorite namesake of a YA protagonist, Perseus! Known precisely for one adventure, Perseus also has the distinction of being the only Greek hero without any heinous character flaws – none of the rages of Hercules, the abandonment of his wife or Theseus, or the complete inability of Orpheus to keep his shit together for five straight minutes.
Note: Apparently Andromeda was actually Ethiopian. I didn't know it when I was drawing it, so… my bad D:
Hey, here's a fun fact: I actually quite liked the Percy Jackson books. I found them a little cheesy at times, but I'll be damned if Riordan doesn't write a compelling first-person narrative. However, I can't bring myself to enjoy the Roman series. Something about it feels like a pale imitation of the former glory of the Percy Jackson series.
