Starless Clan Series A (Overview of Volumes 1-4): This series introduces a new generation of warriors, each grappling with different challenges and responsibilities within their clan. As the leaders of the five clans agree to reform the Warrior Code, a tragedy within the River Clan revives old fears and threatens the fragile peace. These young cats must deal with changes and challenges to avoid imminent conflict.
Book 2 – Sky: In the second book, disaster strikes River Clan, challenging its warriors and the new apprentice healer. They must protect their Clan, even if it means lying to others. With the change in the warrior code, no clan is truly at peace or safe.
Book 3 – Shadow: The third book presents a crossroads for the Clans and the warrior code. The code now allows a cat to formally change clan. However, a newcomer to ShadowClan does not seem welcome and conflicts arise within the clan. Meanwhile, apprentice healer Frost Paw helps River Clan navigate murky waters under the watchful eye of a new Tigerstar, as the shadow of growing conflict looms.
Book 4 – Thunder: The fourth book follows Frost Paw, who, after a brutal attack, is seriously injured and must depend on others despite being told not to trust any cats. A young warrior comes to her aid, protecting her as she searches for the River star's promised answers to the River Clan's roots. Meanwhile, tensions between ShadowClan and its neighbors may ease, but the peace is fragile. The clans risk returning to outright war unless Star Clan's chosen leader is found.
