In Sutton Courtenay, Tony and the team investigate a collection of buildings once occupied by Anglo-Saxon royalty. It is the rarest archaeological site and is home to the largest Saxon building ever discovered in Britain. Aerial photography of a seemingly featureless Oxfordshire field has revealed cut marks which suggested to archaeologists it was once the site of an impressive collection of 1,400-year-old buildings.
