What? Perhaps Umar also introduced the 1st QURAN?
So, not only is Umar of the 7th century whom I call Muhammad, but he may also be the originator of what became the Quran!

This seems shocking, but when we look at the epithets attributed to 7th century Umar I, such as /"ibn al-Khattab/" (the Son of the Book) and /"Al Farooq/" (the Savior), it goes from so later figures from the 8th century pointed to him as the one who could have introduced what later developed into the Qur'an.

Mel points out that around 720 AD, Leo III the Isaurian debated Umar II and, in the debate, noted that the Quran was composed by 3 individuals: 1) Umar I, 2) Ali (Abu Turab) and 3) Salman (Persian).

All of these date from the 7th century, supporting the Alawite tradition and suggesting that 7th century Umar I had something to do with the creation of what became the Quran.

We also know that material from the Quran was borrowed from earlier Syrian-Aramaic Christian hymns, according to research by Christoph Luxemberg and Gunther Luling.

Even the names of this first book suggest that it was borrowed:

1) It was first called /"furqan/
