The lost St. Paul's Building, designed by George B. Post, built 1895-1898 and named after St. Paul's Chapel on Broadway. This masterpiece once dominated the financial district of lower Manhattan and was one of New York's first and tallest skyscrapers, standing 26 stories high and standing 315 feet tall. Its Ionic-style colonnades stood out from other superstructures of its time. But it is also this same unique style that has made it one of the most criticized buildings in the city's history. Today, the history of the St. Paul's building has long been lost to time, but today we will bring it back to life.
