Wildflower Superbloom in California's Carrizo Plain SoCal Wanderer KCET
After a wet winter, California is experiencing a superb wildflower bloom this spring. Some of the most spectacular sites are Carrizo Plain National Monument, about 60 miles southwest of Bakersfield. Admire the carpets of yellow and blue flowers along the hills, mountain peaks and valleys that are so dense and bright they are visible from space!
