Sara, an IT professional, and Stephen, a graphic designer and artist, are Canadians who travel the world and dreamed of settling in Europe, and France in particular. In 2020, they were working from home when Stephen turned to Sara and asked the question she wanted to hear: "What would have to be true for us to buy a castle in France? " They searched online for months and viewed hundreds of properties. They refined their research and visited a few properties when they came across the one that captured our hearts, the Château de Saint-Germain-des-Prés. A year later, they moved to France to start their new adventure in our beautiful Château. They created “Manor and Maker” to reflect both sides of their adventure. Firstly, to live as castle owners with all the ups and downs and secondly, to pursue their creative passions, creating art in all its forms. They will invite others to come together, united by their passions, to share this adventure. We also invite you to join us in bringing our dreams to life. Welcome to Manoir & Créateur.
