World War II Part 1: Crash Course in United States History #35
In which John Green talks to you about World War II, a subject so vast it spans two episodes. This week, John will teach you how the United States entered the war and how involved America was before Congress declared war. John will actually talk a little bit about the military tactics involved, and he'll touch on some of the weaponry involved, particularly the enormous amount of aerial bombardment that characterized the war, and the atomic bombs that ended the war in the Pacific.
